Taking an electric car to the airport

If you drive an electric car, it helps if you can charge while you are away – so you can set off home with a full battery.

Where can you charge?

According to BUD, 4 official car parks (Terminal, City Break, Holiday and Relax Parking) offer EV charging. We have no verified information for Smart Parking. Among private car parks, 5 listings show charging confirmed by the operator.

Questions to ask before booking

  • Which connector and what power output are available?
  • Do you need to request or book charging in advance?
  • How is charging billed?
  • Who plugs the car in if you hand over your key?
  • What charge level will the car have when you get it back?

If charging is not available

Charge the car before you leave so that it has enough range for the journey home – and allow for reduced range in winter.
